I suppose time will tell... if things finally start getting better, then
it probably was the slow recouperation... which might well have an aging
factor to it, granted...  If you don't start getting it back, then maybe
there was an accelerated aging, possibly from the ordeal...  Age itself,
though, doesn't have to cause that sort of problem... my 90+ friend was
able to bounce back from lots of things much better than most much
younger than she... until she decided it was time to quit, and wouldn't
let herself be treated for pneumonia even with fluids... ;0

Promising, actually...  maybe you'll be back to your normal eventually,
even if not immediately...  :)  But even a few bites of enjoyment is
better than none.. :)

You'll probably get back to being able to tolerate them eventually.

When it was short enough and fussy enough, I suppose they did just make
felt from it.  :)  Linen and cotton, of course, are spun from plant
fibers, wool from sheep.. generally not as luxurious as angora or
alpaca, but still spinnable... I'd expect that a medium-haired cat's
hair would be not too bad to use... a short-hair, one might as well make
felt from it.... ;)
