It's a staple in my kitchen, only in much smaller quantities than it
used to be. I used some yesterday in the bread I made--using the KA,
first time for bread made that way in the new house.

My parents always had a glass of milk with lunch, us kids had it most
meals. In the summer, we could sub out kool-aide every other day or so,
for one meal. Since the girls have left home and we've discovered
alternatives to cow's milk, we don't use too much of it any more. I
needed a bit last week so just mixed up some powdered with water for the
cup or so I needed.

OK, we've not been to a Chinese buffet in a good while. Used to go to
one in Savannah quite a bit but it wasn't too far from where we lived.
Here, the nearest one is in Raleigh.

Win some, lose some. You've got other choices in the area so you're not
losing out by not going to one you don't care for as much.
