I can't figure it, unless it was fake (whether licenced or
counterfeit). Bad storage isn't an option, because real
Tabasco tolerates that pretty well, and the taste is pretty
well known if you have visited households where Tabasco is
used once a year, in almost undetectable quantity.

I'd have thought that if they were going to play that game,
they'd go to Portugal or someplace like that. The Netherlands
are pretty socialized and pretty high-cost.

      Title: Seasoned Toasted Hazelnuts
 Categories: Snacks, Appetizers, Fruits/nuts
      Yield: 2 Cups

      2 c  Oregon hazelnuts
   3/16 c  Butter or margarine
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Worcestershire
    1/2 ts Garlic powder
      1 ds Tabasco

  Melt butter in saucepan; stir in salt, Worcestershire, garlic powder,
  Tabasco and hazelnuts. Turn into shallow pan. Bake in 275 oven for 20
  min.
