Could be. ;)

Yup.

That's a nasty fall... good thing you weren't hurt worse... Is the hand
any better now...?

Once Mom died, Margit decided that she'd rather go to Connecticut to
celebrate with her sister and family... Since the family is just them
and us now, it meant that there wasn't any Backus get together any more.
She's the one that decided that we were just takers, not givers, so non
gratis... [shrug] It's her loss...

JK> I bet they loved that when you could do it.. Reminds me of Easter.. I

Easier, anyway... :) Sounds lovely. :) My family did enjoy the
Swedish Christmas bread when I made it, as it was different from the
norm... some enjoyed it better than others, of course... The spicing and
rye aren't favorites of some... ;) But it goes so well with butter
slathered over the slice... :)

It could be a good thing to only break one thing instead of a major
component of a full system, for sure... ;)

Bet that was a lot of fun... :)

Just couldn't resist... ;)

JK> Well, I have both.. think about it.. the ninja container is only about
JK> 2 1/2 cups max.. the blender jar is over a quart.. I think (g)
I've seen Ninja systems at BJ's that looked like they had quart+ jars as
part of the package... but maybe I was wrong about the actual capacity.

JK> Yeah.. I think Ron's family was like that.. mine wasn't..I mean I
JK> remember spitting out veggies and other "strange" foods into napkins,

JK> hahahaha.. we didn't care so much about food :)
We couldn't get away with that... plus, there was never quite enough
anyway, so unless one really hated something, one would eat it so as not
to be hungry later... :)

Oh, that's different... I don't fall asleep, just get too tired to lift
the fork/spoon/chopsticks to my mouth for another mouthful... ;) I get
enough to stave off hunger, and then the tired takes over... :)

Oatmeal being one of the good sources of fiber.. :) I get the
old-fashioned oats at Wegmans... I'm pretty sure that Lori's has the
groats, too... Actually, I think one can buy organic groats at Wegmans
now, too... but they are substantially more pricey than just getting the
regular old-fashioned... :)
JK> usually order from, http://pleasanthillgrain.com/, is now only selling

You'd probably need to freeze most of it to keep it from going bad
before you used it up... Guess they are getting out of the supplying
individuals business...?
JK> 2lb. packages kind of envelopes.. have to go searching when I run out
JK> but I think the last time I ordered, I got a case of 5 or 6 #10 cans of
JK> groats so I could flake them with my grain mill.
Hope you find a good supplier.. :)
