Some (most) times time constraints and location determine where I will get my
belly bomber empty calories. We don't have, currently, a Chick-Fil-A. They left
the local maul several years ago. They've been doing site prep on the outlot
where Montgomery Ward's Auto Centre was located --- but, haven't started the
actual building yet. If I'm going to do Fats Food chicken - Popeyes has two
chicken po'boy sarnies for U$6 as a daily special. 1 is enough for a lunch so I
get the other with condiments on the side and nuke it back to life at a later
date. Keeping the sauces, etc. separate keeps the roll from getting soggy in
the icebox.

To be honest - how many do you think they would sell of the WW biscuits? Not
enough to keep their bean counters happy after the extra ingredients and
duplications were taken into account, I'll bet.

It's 55. I was there yesterday for a couple sausage & egg biscuits.

Lowe's (hardware/building materials) started AFAIK in North Wilkesboro, NC. The
nearest Menard's to you is, I think Raliegh --- ooops. Went to get the address
and that "Menard's" turns out to be Bob Menard's Gourmet Popcorn Shop.   Bv)=
Menards is, I think, a North Central US chain.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Whole Wheat Biscuits
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 24 servings

  1 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
  1 1/2 c  Whole wheat flour
      2 tb Baking powder
    1/2 ts Salt
    3/4 c  Shortening
      1 c  + 2 tb whole milk

  Combine flours, baking powder, and salt, and stir mixture
  well. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until
  mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk, stirring until
  dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a
  lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 8 to 10 times.
  Roll biscuit dough to 1/2" thickness; cut dough with
  a 2" biscuit cutter.  Place on ungreased baking sheets.

  Bake at 450oF/232oC for 10 to 12 minutes.

  Yield: 2 dozen.

  NOTE: Biscuits may be frozen. To freeze, place uncooked
  biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet; cover and freeze
  until firm. Transfer frozen biscuits to plastic bags. To
  bake, place frozen biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet;
  bake at 400oF/205oC for 20 to 23 minutes.
