Depends on how much work I want to put into it, if I peel or not. If
it's a long and involved dish, I'll skip peeling. Fast and easy, peeling
will depend on my mind set when I start cooking.

I don't remember--it seems like it did but then too, I could be thinking
of something else. If it did, the potatoes were a very light & fluffy
mashed type.

Sigh! I try to get to the market every week I'm in town.

No, they don't really but neither do the striped ones. We tried the
white eggplant too.

Overall, I'm not envious of your travels, especially if I've put in a
lot of road time myself. Sometimes it's nice to have a place where you
can stay for a good while, stocking up that freezer for the winter.

I'll have to get Steve to post the hummus again; it's in MM which I
don't have on this set up.

Big ones are scrip; smaller are OTC. I'm going for another blood test
this week, maybe I can stay with just the OTC and salt blend for a
while.
