It always comes as a surprise to me how salty things are... that's when
I remember how little we add normally...  I don't mind things a bit
saltier than I'd cook them, but I would like to taste the food instead
of the salt... :)

And probably overcooked it, to boot...  ;)   Yours sounds perfectly
