Maybe... I'd've been more likely to think that it was just a different
cheese to add instead of the usual cheddar, jack, etc... or a different
dressing, instead of ranch or thousand island...  but then I haven't had
as much experience all-round either in cooking or fancy restaurants... :)

Sure... bacon makes most things tastier...  In this case, the bacon made
a synergy with the blue cheese to make it a bit better than just a plain
burger with bacon on top...  :)

Speaking of experiments...  I found Tate's gluten-free Ginger Zingers at
Lori's, and found them to be as good as you said... and then, when we
needed to bring Christmas cookies to church for refreshments for the
Christmas pageant, we bought a bag of the ginger and a bag of the
chocolate chip (also gluten-free) at Wegmans, since we have a number of
people that need gluten-free...  The chocolate chip vanished quickly, we
brought some of the ginger home with us...  I don't think that the "how
good do these taste stale" experiment is going to happen... they
probably won't last that long, even with just the two of us eating
them...  :)  The only negative about them, if that, was that some of the
adults at church worried that they might not really be gluten-free,
since they looked home-made...  ;)  Showing them the bags, and therefore
the ingredients list, mollified...  ;)

Ah, but... then it wouldn't be as low-fat...  But then, you knew that...
and it would indeed make it probably better...  :)
