Yes, and now it's out of the fridge. I've cleared out several jars that
have had small amounts of stuff recently. Just trying to make a bit more
room in a crowded fridge.

I do a lot of cooking from scratch! Partly it's the way I was brought
up, partly our financial situation makes it the better choice for us,
and partly various other reasons.

Actually, not lazy but practical if you know you won't use the larger
amount before it goes bad. I don't buy as much celery as I used to,
forgot I had some the other day when I wanted to make some dressing. I
used the onion I had but celery would have given it more flavor. I used
a bag of pre done stuffing bread from Whole Foods, onion and
water--should have used some stock to give it more flavor as well. It
was a top of the stove, go with the chicken, toss together dressing. I
should have put some sage into it too. Next time I'll remember (I hope).

Maybe, maybe not. We may be out of the area by the next one if they only
have them at Christmas. I'll probably do it for us off and on during the
winter; I generally use the frozen french style beans for this and buy
fresh for eating during the spring/summer.
