It works better on some than it does on me. I usually know what I want 
and where I am going to go to get it. Of course I review sale flyers and 
adverts closely for things that I need. Stopped at a Family Dollar and 
snagged a 175 oz jug of laundry detergent for U$5 the other day. When I 
selected to get $10 cash back on the debit card they tried to whack me a 
dollar fee (for the Family maybe?) so I backed away from that.

On another note. CVS may just have won me back as a customer - by 
cutting out sales of tobacco (poison). It's a bold move on their part 
and will probably hurt their bottom line for a bit. But, good on them. I 
still won't shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's, though.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Old Chinatown Pork Burger
 Categories: Pork, Vegetables, Breads, Sauces
      Yield: 6 servings

      1 lb Ground pork sausage
      1 c  Enriched soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c  Fine chopped green onion
    1/3 c  Finely chopped bell pepper
  6 1/2 oz Can water chestnuts; drained
           - chopped
      1 lg Egg; beaten
      2 tb Dry sherry
      2 tb Soy sauce
      1 cl Garlic; crushed
    1/4 ts Dried ground ginger
      6 lg Enriched sesame seed
           - hamburger buns, toasted,
           - buttered
           Butter; softened
      1 c  Bean sprouts; rinsed, well
           - drained
MMMMM-------------------SWEET 'N' SOUR SAUCE------------------------
    1/2 c  Crushed pineapple; drained
    1/3 c  Catsup
      2 tb Vinegar
      2 tb Orange marmalade
      1 tb Prepared mustard

  In a small saucepan, combine ingredients. Heat and stir
  until orange marmalade melts.

  Makes about 1 cup

  Combine ground pork sausage, bread crumbs, onion, bell
  pepper, chopped water chestnuts, egg, sherry, crushed
  garlic and ginger. Mix well. For ease of handling, chill
  several hours, if desired.

  Shape into 6 patties and grill until done.

  Split, toast and butter buns.

  Divide bean sprouts among the buttered bun bottoms. Top
  with cooked patty. Spoon equal amounts of Sweet 'N' Sour
  sauce over meat. Close sandwich with top bun.

  Makes 6 sandwiches

  ABOUT THE RECIPE: The National Sandwich Idea contest was
  held between 1956 and 1981. It was sponsored by the Wheat
  Flour Institute. Each year 20 sandwich recipes, created by
  Food Service professionals, were chosen as the top
  sandwich recipes from hundreds of entries.

  The Old Chinatown Pork Burger Sandwich was the number #1
  recipe chosen in 1975.

  It was created by Thomas R. Giancoli. Chef at the
  Riverside Inn near Seattle, WA.
