To be honest the titles of my letters are being made automatically by the
mailing program, and this program not always decodes correctly the city
name from the Fidonet address. I'll to turn it off for this mailing program
is designed for the Russian Fidonet.

From that point of view the war if a very profitable business. As is the
reconstraction of the country which was destroyed. But it is a dangerous
when the society cannot push the breaks.

I see.  Nothing can be done. ;) It is interesting, is the vote in the US
congess a secret vote or an open vote? I heard that when a vote is verily
democratic it must be secret one.

We can say "in vain" if the situation has not not become better. This is, I
would say, a classical definition when it was "in vain" and when it was not.
For example soldiers in WWII did not die in vain because now the world
better. But if the world became more and more worse...
