History first of all says that it is possible to defeat Afgan military
forces in open war, especially when we say about invasions of the Britain,
the USSR or US-led coalition; however, it is impossible to win a partisan
style war. When soldiers of invasion hopelessly & endlessly guard lands and
mountains of captured land and endlessly be killed by those who could be
caught; it is like to keep watch on the kitchen with a hummer and kill
cockroachs when they appear from the cupboard - also no result except big
noise and some satisfaction over the flattened corpse. As for rural people
it is indeed difficult to separate them from partisan. They are indifferent
only outwardly. The same was in Hitler invasion to the USSR. Insurgents were
called terrorist, bandits etc. But partisan cannot be defeated if even in
Iraq's desert why somebody wants to defeat them in mountains where they know
all caves and paths.
The only way to win the war against partisan is when majority of the
population actively supports the invasion.

First of all we must define their aims. For example they fight for their
land and faith. Or like in situation when air forces of Hitler bombed Moscow
in 1941.  Hiter was near Moscow, and it was too big distance for the soviet
planes to make raids to Berlin. Nethetheless, long-ranged planes were
created, but they have no aims and gunlayers. So they had been reaching
Berlin (at night) and droped their bomb indiscriminately, as a rule over the
residential area of Berlin. The same and even 10 time worse did Americans,
but we do not call them terrorists. So, if we consider that a big mass of
people fights for survival we will do not use the term "terrorism" even they
bombs residential area. Genuine terrorists always were scanty groups.
Thousands of fighting people - the army of people. And it is not important
do they bomb residential arias (in Dresden or Hiroshima for instance) or
not.

People who have been living in such a stress for decaded cannot think as
normal adequate humans. So we hardly can expect sound actions from both
sides of conflict in Palestine.

Israel cannot recognize the independent Palestine just because of unlawful
borders which were created by itself. What kind of Palestine can Israel
recogize? There are at least three Palestines: the first one is in the UN
decision when Israel emerged (after WWII), another one a product(s) of many
wars in Palestine, and the last one the Palestine as a God-promised land
i.e. all Palestine belongs to Israel. As far as Israel is religious state
the third one would be considered as preferrable in Israel.

It does not look like that all the world will be aside of this battle.
