Then you would have been living somewhere else I think. ;) But I wonder what
the rich people hope to gain if their party wins? For example imho it is
unlawful if Republicans will give preferences in getting contracts for
the members of their party only.

If they are my own people it does not mean they are wise and they speak
true. They speak true they think is truth. In reality they imho are
incorrectly saying about the reasons of that arrests. They tell lie when
they say that it is brutal face of communism is behind  the spying mania
during soviet rule. It is quite prosaic propaganda by those who gain a lot
when the USSR collapsed. Of course there are some people who sincerely think
that the doctrine of communism implies repressions and Gulag. But I have my
own opinion and I does not belong to any party.

It is alos prosaic propaganda, the invention of Devil. Eltsin in 1995
elections had rating 11%. The rich of Russia spent hundred millions
to convince Russians that there is no alternative but Eltsin. They did
 it so skillfully, that even now Russian people do not see any alternative
to Eltsin regime (ha-ha). The matter is that rich people in Russia during
early 199x were thiefs allmost all of them. And they did Russia for
themselves. Now true democratic forces are trying to break this
mechanism, but without success. Propaganda still in the hands of
the same people. Some of them, it is true, were thrown away from
the pork, but it was the result of the usual fighting for the pork.

If we do not count the fact that in the period when the US had advantage
over the USSR in the number of nuclear bombs the US developed many plans to
ground the USSR. No doubt if the USSR had not developed a lot of nuclear
bomb it would have been a target of the US.

Why it is different? The same paranoiac fear must be blamed. They saw a
prohibited activity  everywhere. And see now. When for example a certain
Iraqi swindler told them that along the Iraqi roads cars go along with built
it chemical factories (my foot! how it is possible to believe in such
nonsence). The US believes him and seriously tells the story at the UN
session. It is a clinical form of paranoia. The world has become sick.

It easy to explain. When a person immigrate to America he wants money. There
are also people and for them money is not the main thing. To live  in such
a style was possible everywhere, there was no need to have a flat in the
USSR.
If somebody wanted to help the USSR he could do it. By the way, exactly by
this way we got a lot of top secrets from the West. ;-)

El Nino is a stream just like Gulf Stream but it is a cold one near west
coast of the South America. If it get wormer it change the route;the climate
also changes dramatically. Thinking that it is the result of the human
activity, imho, is a megalomania.
