FS>> That was a mistake -- however it was kind of good, seeing two
 AS> ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
FS>> bloody tyrants, Hitler and Stalin, going for each other's
 FS>> throats!

 AS> [skip]

AS>> Your 9/11 is just a nursery toy comparing to that, but you've
AS>> made world wide buzz about it, nevertheless. Think of it as of
AS>> kind of a good. After all it allowed to create new work places !

FS> That's probably considered a proper feeling in Russia I suppose?

AS> It's just a miror of your idea about "kind of a good". All I did
AS> was an offer to think about 9/11 in the same way as you offered
AS> to think about WW2. I haven't showed anything that could be re-
AS> garded as my personal feelings or as the feelings in Russia. I
AS> never said "I feel that and that" or "they in Russia feel that
 AS> and that".

But the criminal destruction of the Twin Towers was *not* "kind
of a good", In fact it was very, very bad!

 AS> [skip]

AS>> The more I hear you the more I get astonished
AS>> with the things you enjoy.

FS> Live and learn ... this is a modern world you should try to keep
 FS> up.

AS> I'm quite up with the modern world, I live in it as well as you do.
AS> But unlike you I use modern computers and modern software. And this is
AS> what makes me think that you don't keep up with the modern world :)

What gives you the idea *I* don't use modern computers? Does the
fact that I use a DOS-based reader and editor to take care of
messages here, bother you? Why? The reader and editor are both
*still* excellent. I presume you go for every fad which arises.
*I* don't.

AS>> Where from had you got this crazy idea
AS>> that anybody else could envy your enjoings ?

FS> "Envy"? Who said anything about envy? Are you talking about
 FS> BlueWave or something else?

AS> "Envy" is the your word. Just track this thread a pair of messages
AS> back and you'll find it.

Can't do that as I keep no archives ...

FS>>> besides the total number of enemy troops killed
FS>>> isn't of much importance. What *is* important is who *won*.
 FS>>> And *we* won!!

AS>>> OK. You may think whatever you wish. Just be aware, that outside
AS>>> US you have nobody to share your enjoyment from this silly idea.
AS>>> A war is won by a side that destroyed the most enemies. This is
AS>>> how it is considered here. It seems you consider a war is won
AS>>> by those, who are louder crying.

FS> You have a funny idea of who is the victor in a war. It's
FS> actually quite simple and doesn't involve the number of soldiers
FS> killed at all. The *victor* is the one who accepted the
FS> surrender of the other side. Germany *surrendered* to us, hence
FS> we were the victors. Is that too difficult to understand.

AS> Oh. Now I see. You whether advisedly or unintentionally confused
 AS> "de-jure" and "de-facto". You talk of "de-jure" while I mean
 AS> "de-facto".

Whatever ... [sigh] ... I'm *still* right as to who is the victor
in war ... that's why this terrorist-battling is so annoying ...
how will we ever know we've *won*??

AS>> I think we will not count Hiroshima and Nagasaki that were just a
AS>> cold blood omnicide of a civilian population without any real
 AS>> need.

FS> Huh? Where did you get *that* weird idea?? By dropping those
FS> bombs we probably saved at *least* one million lives. Doesn't
FS> that mean anything to you -- the massive saving of *lives*?!?!

AS> "Probably" doesn't count. Germany already surrendered at that time
AS> and Japan was about to do the same.

Yeah, sure they were ... read what they did on Okinawa in their
anxiety to surrender ... heh heh heh ...

... "Let's eat kosher tonight", said Tom judiciously.
