 >>> You must have a piss poor browzer. That link is very obvious.

MvdV>> It is not obvious at all. Only if you happen to stumble with the
MvdV>> mouse pointer over the area in question would one notice there is a
 MvdV>> link at all.

 > To a seasoned WWW browzer (person), that link is obvious. It's
 > there for more than decoration.

How would you know that without previous information?

 > Even the curiosity of the casual user will see it
 > and wonder what it's for. Running your mouse cursor over the
 > PI will show you the URL of the secret files (espeically if
 > you're using IE).

Yes, but why would a casual user move his mouse cursor of the pi?

 > Not to mention, good browzers (software) have the ability to
 > look at the source of the site.

Again: why would anyone other than a student of HTML look at the source?

 > This alone tells you it's there for a reason.

Ask how many have found it without having been tipped.

 > <H1 align=right><A href="S*CRET.HTM">&pi;</A><H1>

 > Combine the 's*cret.htm' with the web sites URL and wallah,
 > you're in.

Ideed, that was an easy hack was it?

But a hack nevertheless.

The law says nothing about it having to be difficult. An easy crack is a crack
just the same.

MvdV>>>> It seems to me that is is *you* who is breaking the law.
MvdV>>>> Publishing cracks to bypass a copy protection is illegal.

 >>> No one has published any cracks. That link is provided by the
 >>> Felon.

MvdV>> No. The link is hidden. Ross is providing information to find it.

 > No, the link is in plain view, on the page and in the source.

No, it is not, it is hidden.

It doesn;t matter that *you* think it is easy to find. What matters is if
Swedish law considers it sufficiently hidden. Apparently they do.

 > Anyone can find it just by visiting the site, without someone telling
 > them exactly where to look.

Hpow many *did* find it wthout knowing in advance there was anything at all to
find?

MvdV>>>> At least in The Netherlands. And possibly in Sweden and the
MvdV>>>> USA as well. You published such a crack by making public the
MvdV>>>> url to the directory where the music can be downloaded.

 >>> It's no crime to publish a link that is on the site.

MvdV>> It is if it is hidden abnd not meant to be published.

 > Bullshit. You lie like the Dossche, when it's convenient to
 > your purposes.

No bullshit. Hop on a plane, come to the Netherlands and we will see how you
defence holds in a court of law.

MvdV>>>> It is not Björn who makes it available for download, it is *you*
 >>> Wrong...it's his site and he provides the material.
MvdV>> BTW, how do you know that that hidden link leads to a page where
MvdV>> the material can indeed be downloaded? Did you successfully
MvdV>> download one of the movies or MP3's that you claim are there?

 > I was playing those MP3's all day yesterday. That's not a crime,

That depends on how you got those MP3's. If you had them from a legal source,
it is ok. If you had them from Björn's site it is a crime. Or so those experts
in US law tell me. Downloading is illega in the USA.

 > I'm listening to his collection. There's no way to download the
 > files.

If you listened to them, you HAVE downloaded them. How else can your media
player play them?

You obviously do not know the difference bertween downloading and saving.

 > On the page with the list of MP3s, there is this (below),
 > which tells you that these files are playable.

No, it does not tell you they are playable, it is just a list of what he has on
his system. Somewhere...

 > But, you won't find a link to anything listed there,

Exactly. No link to where they actually are.

 > until you click on the only thing on the page with a link, the p*.

And so they are hidden.

 > So much for needing a password...

Who says a password is required to for "sufficient protection"?

 > 2555 tracks in playlist, average track length: 3:43
 > Estimated playlist length: 158 hours 51 minutes 24 seconds
 > (1 track of unknown length)

Yes. Your point?

 >>> You dumb fuck. The link is embedded in this message. You won't
 >>> be able to extract it until it's already on your computer.

MvdV>> Having the link on my computer is not a problem. It is publishing
MvdV>> it that could be an offence. Hence the editing.

 > The link is being published here, as you read this. It's up
 > there. ^Sue me.

Hop on a plane, come to The Netherlands and I will gladly escort you to a DA to
confess to your crimes.

MvdV>>>> There is also music from Dutch artists to be downloaded at that
MvdV>>>> subpage. Better stay away from the Netherlands for a while...

 >>> Nobody is interested in that pissant little backwards country.

MvdV>> Hmmm, your president seems to think otherwise. He was here this
MvdV>> spring to visit some graves.

 > Were they Dutch graves?

Of course. Margraten is in The Netherlands.

 >>> You shut up. You're now as guilty as the Felon...

MvdV>> Please elaborate. What am I guilty of?

 > Being an asshole, a liar, an asshole, and a liar.

Please provide proof.

Cheers, Michiel
