   By Far!  The only true measure is to measure the knowladge of
students before and after entering the University.  Perhaps that's why
so many students demand such high grades to make it into their
colledges.  Not, because they require the students to be intellegent
to teach them further, but because They want the outcome to look like
they made the students even smarter, when they wasn't really.  Eg.
They show the average student leaving the University has an IQ of
____, and has a job earning $____.__ / Hr, and it looks good.  But
what they don't show is how smart the average person was going into
the college, and how smart they are leaving and how small the increase
in knowladge is upon leaving...  After All, if the point of College is
to teach the students and prepare them for a Job, what difference does
it make how smart the students are going in?  Fact is they're just
wanting to load their statistics in their favor!

          On Contrary, Many US Students visit Foreign Colledges to
learn foreign languages, because they feel to truely learn how to
speak french, one should live with the french and speak it to them.
It's getting to where now everyone is learning English as a Second
language in other countries, so why wouldn't other students travel to
the USA to ensure they can speak English?  The Cost of Tuition has
little to do with it, especially as the value of the American Dollar
decreases.  Not to mention, what better way to become a Citizen (as in
legally) than to become a student in an American School, then get a
job and apply for citizenship.... Or, how about an Iraqi who travels
to the USA for schooling in flying a plane, then defects and grabs a
job (illegally of course), earning money till he decides to commit
suicide by flying a plane into a building (which of course, he didn't
pay for, he steals from a national airline company....)  No indication
what soever of a school's educational value.

O.k. I just got a few questions on this one...  Lacking full
understanding of the "Nobel Prize"

1> Who picks the "Nobel Prize" winners? 

2> Let us consider our "Compettition" for Nobel Prizes....
     A> 3rd World Countries?  You got to be kidding! There's a reason
          they're called "3rd World"....
     B> France, Britain, Mexico, Spain?  Not really known for Space  
          Race, Neuclear Physicics, etc....
     C> Russia?  (Some competition, mainly just looking for a place to
house their people in space I think....)
     D> Japan (hardly any competition, mainly they just deal with
electronic devices.... And most of what they do is copying the work
that other people do, can't get a Nobel Prize for Duplicating someone
else's work....
     E> China?  (Sorry, I don't think they give out Nobel Prizes for 
          having sex without birth control, though they might one 
          day win a Nobel Prize for creating a birth control that 
         last incredibly long and is incredibly convient!  Who else
         would really be so worried about Birth Control, than China?)
