Dunno how much you've been abroad but I can only agree with Joe and then
I've been to most countries in Europe and to Domenican Republic and Thailand.
Sorry to say but here in Europe the Germans are the worst with Americans on
second place. In DR it was the Americans with the Canadians on second place
and in Thailand it was the new rich Russians with Americans on second place.
All those opinions I get from the locals because I use to ask them what they
think of different nationalities. So far everyone have said that the people
from
the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden) are the best.
They are the once that doesn't make a fuzz about everything and doesn't look
down on the locals without accepting it as it is and do the best of it and by
that
we have made friends all over the world and are planning to go back to Thailand
in January to February because we liked them and they liked us. We also have
very good friends in Greece that we use to visit.
I could tell you so much from our trips but this isn't the place to do it.

You are totally correct. Instead of looking down on others we use to sit down
for a whole evening, just listening to what they have to say about their
religion,
how they live and how it works in their country and we get to hear things that
we've never heard before. This makes us understand their problems instead
of trying to make them do it our way.
