I suspect he, maybe Wayne the welfare fraud mentioned it, as you can see,
neither fit in here real too well either, all 3 of you cannot grasp the history

Unlike you and Wayne, no one else lets politics govern their lives and permit
it to paralyze them. But unlike you and Wayne, not everyone sees the world like
you two do, there is something to be thankful for, I would hate to be either of
you two.

Between 1995-2002, Microsoft was releasing a new incarnation of Windows,
approximately every 3 years, The WIN95 echo was created at the beginning of
that cycle. Attempts were made to create echo names that coincided with later
releases of Windows, WIN98, WINME, WIN2000, WINXP, etc, they didnt fare to well
and it became evident that creating echoes to keep up with windows version
names was a foolish proposition. The european backbone had better luck, but
them aside, the other echoes named for later versions of windows, faded into
oblivion, either gone all told or devoid of usage. I doubt a echo about Vista
when it releases next year will fare any better?

The users and moderators of WIN95 echo decided to open the echo up to all
versions of windows, those before or since Windows 95. Its ironic but a few
regulars in that echo just not so long ago, gave up the ghost on Win95. Many of
the regulars access the echo from the same BBS you use. (btw)

I have seen you talk the tech talk, you do it quite well and I am sure you and
I could find common ground there, why not come over to that echo and lets
edumacate the DOS weenies!! <g>
