Nazi Germany was not dependent on naval power alone.

Napoleon did it.  Problem was, he did not stay long enough.
Hitler did it.  Problem was, he did not stay long enough, having
to defend the other front as the USA entered the war.

Propaganda makes for a nice read, but is far from the truth.
Hitler was seen as a savior by the German people.  And he was
a savior, having brought Germany to great prosperity from the
dregs of economic depression.  Not only was Hitler seen as a
savior by the German people, but he was also seen as a savior
by Austrians, Czechs, and others.  By freeing all Germanic
peoples, Hitler gained the resources Germany needed to compete
in the world.

Not many uranium deposits were known to exist at that time by any
country.  It was only after WWII that more numerous deposits were
discovered.  In any event, it would have been only a matter of time
for Nazi Germany to develop, and use, atomic bombs.  Fortunately,
the USA was able to force a German surrender before that happened.

Italians were good soldiers then, and remain good soldiers today.

What the Bush is proposing is a scam, not actual nationalization
