No. It was written when he was in prison after the 1934 uprising in Munich,
dictated - if I remember correctly - to Rudolf Hess. Hitler had been in
politics since the late 1920s, and after the 1934 uprising was given a "slap on
the wrist" by sympathetic judges who themselves were anything but politically
neutral.

Had Germany not been dragged into the depression and had the Versailles treaty
in addition, the Nazis would probably never have amounted to much, but the
facts are what the are. Remember the USA and the election of 1933. If Rossevelt
hadn't become president, but rather some really radical instead - think of Huey
Long - just imagine what could have happened in the States.

I either write capitals or use an underscore before and after the words. That's
emphasis. Quotation marks, for me, are for quotations.

I used the American term since I thought you'd be familiar with it.

And American, and Russian and a lot of others. Any old port in a storm, and
when your neck is on the block, it's always the other guy's fault.

I Just don't know, Roy. I swore many years ago I'd never rant against "modern
youth" because we did some pretty nasty things too when I was a kid. But
sometimes the temptation is pretty hard to resist.
