     You can't be serious Björn. Hussein denied the inspectors access
on a regular basis. In 1998 the UN inspectors pulled out of Iraq because
the Iraqi government was continually dening them access and they were
not being allowed to do their job.

     Yeah... about 4 years later when Hussein was ready you mean. By then
he (Hussein) was ready to have the inspectors find what they were supposed
to find, nothing.

    Back in 1991 as part of cease fire agreement the UN ordered the Iraqi
goverment to remove or eliminate its biological, chemical, and nuclear
weapons. The Iraqi government agreed but then for eight years deceived,
obstructed, and threatened international inspectors sent to inspect and
verify the destruction of its WMD's. The Iraqi government lied about the status
of its WMD's and obstructed the UN inspection teams. Iraq continued
to harass, hinder, and frustrate inspectors until they decided in 1998
to pull out because they were not being allowed to do their job. As I
recall it wasn't until 2002 that Hussein told the UN inspectors that they
could continue to inspect. By that time I suspect that the inspectors found
just what Hussein wanted them to find. NOTHING.


    Both the IAEA and the UNSCOM reported that their work in Iraq was
unfinished and further inpections were needed. UNSCOM also reported many
errors, mostly with regard to WMD's between what Iraq claimed it
had and evidence discovered. The point here Björn is that there is much
more information that you are seeming unwilling to let yourself see.
