    Doesn't really matter. What matters is how the users see him. If they
see him, his insults, his hatreds, his bashing, his arrogance in the same
echo that he also moderators. That is what they will associate with the
Fidonews echo and the Fidonews. Does the editor and/or moderator care?
Doesn't look like it. Therein lies the problem David. If Felten shows
people that he doesn't give a damn. THAT is what the users will see
regardless of Felten's actual intent. He has stated that he is perfectly
capable of keeping his roles seperate. That could be true David but it
doesn't mean much when that isn't what he shows the users. They see him,
his actions, his inactions, his biases, his insults, Etc. THAT i what they
see and that is wahat they will associate with Fidonews.

     It doesn't have to be in the job description to be a desired and
common sense type of thing. And no, Björn doesn't need to be a role
model. But one would think that since he is also the editor and the
moderator that he would have some interest in what people think of the
Fidonews and the Fidonews echo. Or is it that his priorities are more
focused on his ability to have a forum for his own personal use.

    Your absolutely right David. And I have never suggested that he doesn't
have the right to his opinion. He also has the right to dislike or hate
whatever or whomever he chooses. That isn't the point and you know it.

     There you go. In your mind the use of commom sense and the use of
wisdom sucks. That would explain why you are defending Felten. My opinion
is to use wisdom and common sense in the execution of one's responsibilities.
And you think that idea sucks.
