Nice thing about the software I use here. It allows me to reply to either
of the two persons in any given message. The writer or the recipient. In
this case, I replied to the recipient because it was already apparent that
BJ made some wild-ass claims about Haliburton that he, nor you, can back
up.

Odd that. See above where you asked, "The American taxpayer and ordinary
working stiffs?" That question obviously sprang out of ignorance and not
reality.

Haliburton's home web site says otherwise. Their headquarters are in
Houston, TX and a sub of their headquarters are in Dubai. They didn't move
to Dubai, they opened an office in Dubai while maintaining their main
corporate offices in Houston. In fact the CEO of Haliburton spends more
time in airplanes than he does in either place.

I, and presumbably Haliburton's CEO, could give a shit less what the US
Congress has to say about it. It's not like the USC has a leash on the
company just because they are doing business in the US.

You actually have to be able to read and comprehend what is said on those
sites before you can know what you're talking about.

Google 'Iraq Oil Auction - 2008' and you'll find out that Haliburton did
not get a re-newed contract in Iraq and that those who did win the Iraq
oil lease auctions are foreign based oil companies with Europeon corporate
offices. Mainly Royal Dutch Shell...
