I never met some of them, but I've heard stories related to me by those
who did know them.

That was Kohls main hang up. I needed a nodelist and my NC's system wasn't
allowing my system to connect, or vice versa. So, I figured the best place
to get a fresh nodelist was from my RC, who was, according to P4, supposed
to be hosting nodediff and nodelist files on his system should have made
them available by requesting such files in netmail.  He bitched at me
because his system didn't have those files for 'public' downloads. Hell,
it was my dime and I was willing to pay for the time, if his system was
only P4 compliant.
