In the old days, Irish, Scandinavian, and other European immigrants
would travel to Canada and then sneak across the border into America,
populating the northern and western states (the eastern states had
already been settled by the English and the Scots, the southern states
having been populated by Africans).

The people of the Balkans have no money, although their lands are
rich in mineral resources.  Without support from European countries
from outside their region, the people of the Balkans will continue
to suffer, just as they had for decades under communism.

So when is the rest of Europe going to contribute to helping the
people of the Balkans?

WD>Russia has decided to become isolated. The country emerged from total

WD>The moment western Europe has diversified its energy supply enough,

Russia is losing population.  Not from emigration, but from old age.
Not enough women of childbearing age making babies.  And those who
are of age look for opportunities overseas (anywhere where young studs
can be found), as their villages become sparser and sparser.

WD>created a very odd state of mind within the people.

The new Czar is nothing more than the old Czar in different clothing.
What Vladimir Putin will do is take a few pointers from David Duke and
turn to nationalism as his base.  Nationalism based on white supremacy.

There is a difference between "freedom" and "liberty".
A vast difference.  But you wouldn't know that.
Even with the word "freedom" there are different connotations.
For example, there is "freedom from" and there is "freedom of".
What is meant should be obvious to all, but rarely is.
