I don't, I'm merely expressing the following:
 
1) He's a drug user (a known fact)
2) The girl's car apparently was packed with party drugs
3) He only met her that evening? ... my ass
4) Pretty little innocent baby was a drugsrunner, daddy didn't know. Vander-
   Sloot was her customer
5) Vandersloot was in a poker tournament with big money
6) She went with him to his hotelroom at 5am. To wash her hands? Daddy says
   she fought being raped ... hey ... if you go along with a guy to his hotel
   room at 5am it isn't to watch the sunrise.
 
I say he was involved in a money-lundering operation from the drugs trade and
someone got killed. Other than that we need to wait for the outcome of the
investigation. To me it sounds too good, too perfect, too convenient, too
obvious to be true. There's more to it.
 
Mind you, he may have performed the deed, but so far we don't know.
 
As for the professionalism of the Peruvian police ... the remains of miss
Flores have been burried, cremation was not allowed, "because they want to be
able to exhume here to see if there is DNA-evidence under her fingernails" ...
wouldn't you get that rather 'before' she is burried?

Nothing, of course. It's a parent's worst nightmare when your kid dies. In this
case it is aggravated by the fact there is no corpse to grieve by. When the
parents are stinking rich, it doesn't change a bit. Parental grief is
universal.
 
However what does bother me is that so many people are allknowing and without
having any access to the case-files come to conclusions which are not supported
by evidence. If it were, JVDS would now be in an Aruban jail.
 
The investigation in Aruba and in the Netherlands has been done very thoroughly
and professionally, but that doesn't fit the picture so that news is wiped from
the slate. Dutch police are among the most professional and best trained in the
world.
 
JVDS can be linked to miss Holloway but his involvement in her dissappearance
is not supported by proof. It is equally forgotten that there were close to a
dozen suspects in Aruba which all have been arrested and jailed during the
investigation, only JVDS had the good profile to make a headline. You know
"Judge protecting his son" etc...
 
Annoying on top of that is the allegedly candid video shot by journalist De
Vries who allegedly uncovered the truth about Natalee. The alleged confession
of JVDS was thrown out for several reasons but mainly because the evidence did
not support it, he was spinning a yarn.
 
And let's not forget, this mr. De Vries also announced he solved the murder of
JFK and promptly was laughed away.
 
If you really have such proof as he claimed, you take it to the authorities,
even as a journalist. What he did however was keep those tapes and announced
for days a breakthrough in the Holloway-case which he allegedly solved and
everybody could see it 3-4 days later on his commercial TV-station. Any
evidence by then could have been destroyed by the cilprit(s).
 
Aw c'mon ... all that material was taken and put into a book by Beth Twitty,
Natalee's mam, and became a bestseller.
 
That is what bothers me ... the press fabricating something, investigating
journalists tearing up the facts and putting them back together to come-up with
a new situation: "He has done it" ... c'mon ... he may have done it, there's
even a serious likelyhood he did it ... but until demonstrated in a court of
law it's "innocent until proven guilty".

Granted.
 
To me it shows the idiot he is, he just attracts trouble.
 
Quite a while ago Michiel and I were musing about him and concluded by
wondering in what kind of trouble he would be getting next. I think it was
after a drug-arrest in Thailand or Cambodja or so.
