June of 66 to March of 67...I was in San Diego by the end of March.

Nope. Boeing used it as your employee ID, so it was kosher. I didn't mind
that so much, as there wasn't anyone stealing SS ids and draining your
bank account in the 60s. What I did mind was that my foreman didn't know
me from Adam, except by SS number. If I was just a number to him, I didn't
want to work there.

Funny how number sequences stick with you over the years. My CA driver's
license number is used to log onto my computers.

When you have a group of workers who're moving around from job to job or
town to town, it's sometimes hard to think of employees as anything but
occasional aquaintences.
