I was at National Defence HQ at that time.  Things were a little tense there,
but from my friends at the bases, it was worse.  No leave allowed, etc.

Why?  To hire a worker part time, in order to get out of paying benefits, to my
way of thinking is fraud.  Here they have something called full time part time.
 You are hired by the company, and it is more then 2 or 3 days a week, but less
then 40 hours.  Again to keep wages down, and no benefits.

They have a lease.  The building owner is in no rush to find a new tenant as
long as he is getting paid.

Some loop hole they created, but of course their pensions (govt critters), are
not affected by that, and they get a full pension (their full wages) after 6
years elected.  I would be happy with 80%
