BM> Hell of a word Roy...
RW> Pays to be educated.
BM>Must have cost you a fortune...
TR> McGarrity must be jealous.
Jealousy has nothing to do with it Tim. It's laughable he spent all that money
and got nothing out of it. C'est la Vie...
BM> but I guess you would know the meaning of it with all the bullshit
BM> in Texas.
TR> Texas is in line to overtake Saudi Arabia in oil production soon.
Not sure where you get that from... but according to most analysts, texas
production will reach about 3.4 million barrels/day by the end of the year due
to shale, which will scorch the land to make it totally useless when done, as
compared to Saudi Arabia's daily production of just under 10 millio/day. Let
us know when they overtake them Tim. Are you using the same crystal ball Reagan
used?
TR> Texas is also becoming the place for business to re-locate and
TR> dare to grow their business without much interference from the
TR> state.
Sure, less "interference". Guess blowing up a town is good for business but
screw the people who live there and who died. Brilliant.
RW> Speaking of the bullshit in Texas, SFB-Obama has dared to show his
RW> pitifull face in Austin...not that being here in any capacity above his
RW> station in life will do him or any liberals in Texas any good.
TR> I'd guess that the only reason he hasn't been shot or blown up yet is
TR> everybody, even would-be assassins, don't like the notion of Biden
TR> being POTUS.
TR> But I wouldn't make book on his life expectancy after Jan 20th, 2017.
So you have inside information on this Tim? One could possibly say you're
predicting the killing of a former president. I'm sure the Secret Service
would love to hear more... please continue while I dial (202) 406-5708.
RW>BTW, notice that this potus-pos doesn't dare to visit the border where
RW>Texas National Guard and private militia is doing the job of securing that
RW> border.
TR> There's a real possibility that this immigration thing is gonna spark a
TR> round of violence in the border states. People are starting to get real
TR> pissed off at the flaunting of our immigration laws by the very people
TR> who are sworn to uphold and enforce them.
Hey Tim, ever hear of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection
Act of 2008? You know, the one signed by that GOP president. Look it up, I'm
sure you'll find the read interesting as to why this is happening.
BM>I find it rather sad people like you take more interest in the welfare of
BM>a fetus than those of living breathing people who are less fortunate than
BM>you or I.
TR> And its amazing how people like BM can throw `living breathing people'
TR> out there in regard to those who crash our borders in defiance of our
TR> laws, and equate it to `abortion'. Sort of a skewed reasoning.
Again, read what the law says before you start spewing garbage. My statement
is spot on. The GOP only cares for the unborn due to their religious beliefs
yet when that child is born, the GOP doesn't give a damn till they're 18 and
can go fight a war.
BM>I know you're not a Christian nor do I care what you are but
BM>the fact remains you're a very sick individual.
TR> And of course, `religion' always gets thrown into it. Leftists always
TR> think they've got a `trifecta'...ignore the law, flout the rules, gun
TR> control.
No, the religious angle is used by the GOP as their standard... forgot about
Hobby Lobby already and the 5 GOP shills sitting on the SCOTUS.
BM> <N>ext...
TR> Why have laws if any president or attorney general can come along and
TR> just ignore them? Or any leftist democrat can come along and play the
TR> `oh...those poor poor people' song at will, to flout the laws on
TR> immigration, yet scream bloody murder because a conservative dares
TR> to raise a protest over 50 million-plus dead since Roe v Wade?
Flout a law signed by a GOP president? Facts Tim.. deal with the facts.
You're getting emotional again.
RW> Nothing Exciting in eXcrement Today. Try New Jerkey.
BM>In texas, excrement is on the daily menu. Most texans willingly walk in
BM>more shit daily than the rest of the country combined in a year. Sad
BM>part, everyone in texas enjoys it.
BM>Just think Roy... your beloved state may become one of the new blue states
BM>by 2030... that is unless your Rhodes scholar of a governor secedes so the
BM>rest of us can reclaim that extra $0.47 you get back on every dollar you
BM>send the the feds.
TR> Texas has one of the largest and growing economies in the entire
TR> country.
No, they are home to some of the largest corporations that suck the life out of
people.
TR> It has six of the top fifty Fortune 500 companies in the nation.
LOL... all oil companies that are subsidized by the American Taxpayer to the
tune of $21 billion/year.
TR> It grossed over $265 BILLION in exports in 2012 alone. Texas
TR> unemployment rate is around 5.5% (the nation's is said to be 6.3% this
TR> past April). Also, over 800,000 people dropped out of the work force
TR> that same month nationwide.
Yet when Bush left office it was over 10% and losing 400,000-500,000/month.
Great analogy.
TR> So...Texas is doin' pretty good.
Then tell me why for every dollar texas sends to Washington they receive back
$1.47 if they're doing so good? The rest of your smoke and mirrors regarding
texas wealth is sitting in the hands of the few.
BM>Some of the states (New Jersey being one) who are
BM>carrying your lazy asses are tired of doing it so please, go your merry
BM>way and take along all those other red states who are "takers" as well.
TR> The entire U.S. non-farm jobs for the month of June 2014 was just over
TR> 288,000...or an increase of around 1.8%.
TR> In Texas...between May 2013 and May 2014, non-farm jobs increased by
TR> 383,000, or 3.4%!
So you're comparing the data from one month for the country to the data in
texas over a year? Now if we extrapolate the numbers you've just given, the
increase in jobs country wide should be about 3,456,000. Sounds about right,
according to the Fed's calculations. With the size of texas being they are
about 8.4% of the total population and generated 11% of the newer jobs, not
bad. But lets take a look at the income per capita. Good Lord, they're below
the average in the country by over $1,000. Yet look at NJ.. above average by
over $10,000, NY.. above by $8,000, Massachusetts, above by $11,000. Even your
state of California is above by $3,000. Guess the working people of texas are
getting the shaft by all those Fortune 500 companies.
TR> BTW...Texas unemployment rate has been at or below the national rate
TR> for over 80 consecutive months!
Being they're home to six of the largest Fortune 500 companies, I expect it to
be 0%. They're not doing very well then.
TR> "...carrying your lazy asses...".? BM must be hallucinating!
You just don't seem to understand facts do you? Even your own home state gets
back only 94% of what it sends to Washington. Where is your outrage over that?
BM>Funny, I thought all you GOP kinfolk hated those "takers". Guess looking
BM>in the mirror isn't your style. <N>ext bullshit..
Face it Tim, RED states are more dependent on the Federal Goverment than the
Blue states. texas is 18th MOST dependent. Why is that with all those Fortune
500 companies?
As a side note, North Dakota (who just happens to be so red it's blushing)
receives over $5 for every dollar they send to Washington yet they have an
unemployment rate of 3.1%. Oh wait, BIG oil is up there... never mind.
