It would have been so easy for President Carter to have started
a war with Iran.  And yet he didn't, choosing diplomacy as his weapon
of choice, which led to the successful release of all 52 Americans
who had been taken hostage by Iran.

Had a warmonger been in office, all 52 hostages would have killed.

No US troops were killed in combat while Carter was President.
And that is something he (and most Americans) is most proud of.

The Americans who had been held hostage in Iran are also very
thankful to President Carter for having obtained their freedom
from the Iranian regime that had held them hostage for well
over a year.

For that, all Americans should be grateful to President Carter.

When Clinton lied, nobody died.  When Bush lied, thousands died.

That is why Democrats such as Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton make
me proud to be an American.

It is impossible to bomb a people who live in caves into oblivion
no matter how many bombs are dropped.  The people who have been bombed
will still be living in caves.  What will have been accomplished?

The German people do not understand why we (Americans and Allies)
bombed their cities, schools, hospitals, etc. during WWII.  To them,
we were the aggressors, not Germany.  We attacked them, with Germany
defending her homeland.

The Afghan people do not understand why we (Americans and Allies)
bombed their cities, schools, hospitals, etc. ...

The Taliban is not al-Qaeda.  ObL is dead and of no consequence.
Afghanistan has just recently held elections.  A deal has been made
that will allow some US troops to remain in Afghanistan - at least
until President Obama leaves office.

What are you going to bomb?  Rocks?  GWB allowed ObL to flee to safety
in Pakistan.  And then GWB became busom buddies with the Pakistani
dictator (who is now standing trial in Pakistan).

I am soooo glad President Obama gave Navy SEALs the "terminate with
extreme prejudice" order, thus doing away with ObL once and for all.

How are you going to accomplish that?  By giving an executive order

Rumor has it Mossad gave him AIDS.  His body has been exhumed, and
it has been proven he was poisoned.  As to who poisoned him, or why,
remains an open question.  Well, maybe not for Palestinians, who
blame Israel for everything ...

Driving a car is probably the most dangerous thing you do every day.
Flying is much safer.  A thousand times safer.  Except if an airplane
crashes.  In which case it was good knowing you.
