Every industrialized country in the world is prepared
for anything and everything.  Including the USA, having
contingency plans for even the most preposterous notions
- such as invading Vatican City (as if the pope and his
Swiss guards posed a threat to national security).

However, no people (including those people in the US)
can ever be prepared for what might happen in the case
of an epidemic or pandemic.  Even the threat of such
an epidemic/pandemic can cause mass panic and hysteria.

It is more luck than procedure.  About 150 people per day
enter the US from that portion of Africa where ebola is
prevalent.  That number includes health care workers who
have been there treating patients.  All of those people
had been screened before landing in the US.  But the
incubation period for ebola can be as long as 21 days.
None of those people who have entered the US had been
kept in isolation for 21 days, or even a single day,
before setting foot on US soil.

Here's the math -

About 150 people per day enter the US at 5 different
airports, where they are screened for the possibility
of being infected by ebola.  If an individual does not
show signs/symptoms of being infected by ebola, that
individual is allowed to continue his/her travels.
But do keep in mind that 21-day incubation period ...

You do not understand how such a disease spreads.
It is an exponential progression.  Not linear.
Ebola is spreading faster than it can be treated
in Africa.  It is only a matter of time before
it spreads to Europe, Asia, and to our own shores.

Wishful thinking.

We are in the middle of a blood moon tetrad.  A series
of four lunar eclipses, along with two solar eclipses,
within a two-year period, 2014-2015, with each date
falling on a Jewish holy day.

The ebola plague began around the first lunar eclipse.
We have just witnessed the second lunar eclipse.  I expect
the next stage for ebola is for it to mutate and go airborn,
the early symtoms being much like the flu.

How are victims going to know if they have ebola or the flu?
How is the government going to know?  FEMA has already set up
17 centers around the US in order to keep people in isolation.
Will you go willingly to one of those centers?  Not that you
will have any choice ...

Mitt Romney, the likely next Republican nominee for president,
has a plan to bring this deadly disease under control.  What is
the Romney plan?  Provide each ebola victim with magic underwear.

Piyush "Bobby" Jindal, another Republican presidential hopeful,
has another plan.  His plan is to exorcise the ebola demons, thus
freeing everybody's soul for eternity.

And then there is Mike Huckabee, whose plan is simply to keep
on playing that bass guitar to whatever beat that follows ...
