You mean you knew these people were cooking up a hoax, would be a part

Completely out of `context'?


Well....lets look at a few of them again:

"Isn't the only hope of this planet the total collapse of industrial
civilization?"


Please put that into `context' for me. Because `the total collapse of
industrial civilization' doesn't have a whole lot of `double' meanings.


At least not to the English-speaking world. And further on in his statement
he goes on to claim that it is the responsibility of both he and those he's
making those remarks to, to bring about the `total collapse of industrial
civilization'!


First of all....`industrial civilization' gives me and a lot of other people
a lot of advantages. My nice car for one thing. And having my house lit when
I throw a light switch. I like having the streets lit in the cities at night
so I can see around me when I'm walking to my car from a store. I like having
TV and computer equipment at my finger tips.


Then....there's necessities `industrial civilization' brings us, like well-lit
hospitals, schools, not to mention jobs, merchandise, goods, decent plumbing
fixtures.....


Who the hell are these people to take upon themselves the notion they can just
bring about `the total collapse of industrial civilization'? There are a lot
of us who might like to have something to say about that.


Or try this one:


"For these reasons we have to announce terrifying scenarios, make simplified,
dramatic statements with no mention of any doubts whatever which we might
have."


`Terrifying scenarios'? `Dramatic statements'? Whats wrong with just being
`truthful'? And by the way...right there in that sentence this person lets
the cat out of the bag. `...with no mention of any doubts whatever which
we might have'? In other words...even when you KNOW what you're claiming
is wrong....even when you KNOW the data is `doubtful'....play it up anyway!


And that person goes on to say:


"Every one of us researchers must decide how far he would want to be honest
rather than effective."


In other words...he's putting `honesty' and `effectiveness' at opposing sides
to each other. Given a choice...a researcher can be either `honest'...or
`effective'.


There's no way to `take that out of context'. Thats a plain statement of
offering a choice between `honesty' or `effectiveness'. And the words `us
researchers' lends that statement its own indictment.


There's no other meaning to that statement except a plain invitation to
enter into the lie that is the `global warming scam'.

Nobody is `blindly' following anything. When lies and distortions come out,
it doesn't take a genius to see it.

The `US space program and NASA' aren't even comparable to the `global warming
sceme. NASA and the US space program were aty least something constructive
being done.

Do I detect a hint of jealousy that it wasn't *your* country that has the
scientific know-how and technology to do it?

I'm almost glad you brought that up.


When did it become the sole responsibility of the US to solve the `hunger of
the world'? What are we...the world's soup line? Why doesn't the world get
off its ass and feed itself?


WD>What about all the money to construct and maintain a wall south of the USA
WD>which dwarves the Berlin Wall ... that last Wall came down exactly 25
WD>years to the day as I write this.


Which has nothing whatever to do with the con job known as `global warming'.

Actually, the Berlin Wall was to force people to stay IN a repressive,
violent, and murderous nation.


The `wall' on the US\Mexican border is meant to keep *illegal* aliens
OUT of our country.


The `selling point' by this president of ours was `we shouldn't turn
away the best and brightest' immigrants.


But so far...all we've gotten is criminals, drug cartels, children with
communicable deseases America hasn't seen in almost a hundred years,
people who immediately become a financial burden on the rest of us, take
jobs Americans need....and on and on....


WD>and, more importantly, the wall around your brain?


Congratulations. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would for you
to drop the level of this conversation from two adults talking, to throwing
insults at me.


There have been times when I thought you were one of the more mature-minded
of the European Fido posters. And then....you are quick to remind me that
you are like all the rest of them; you cannot stand to see anyone who has
opposing views that do not agree with yours.


And you cannot deal with the hypocrisy of the `global warming' scammers being
exposed to the light of day.
