Yep, we have them here as well.

I don't think we have the colors you do <grin>... but there are some spaces
marked for mothers with children, that kind of thing... and of course day-care
play areas in the stores for the kids <g>.  The parking spaces are not a law
here as far as I know like handicap spaces are.  The big grocery stores like
Wegmans have them. The smaller stores don't.

Sorry to hear about that.  I expect you mean the cold affects things? Here,
it's kind of insane.. in the cold, I can walk better. Heat does me in.  So on a
bad day that distance to the entrance is important to me as well.. nature of
the beast. One day I can walk just like everyone else, some other day I'm
holding onto Ron for my life it seems <bg> Oh well.

I don't remember what the fine is in NYS but there is one.  I try not to make
judgements about people stepping out of cars in handicap spaces because some
days one couldn't tell I'm a crip <grin>  But if I had to walk from the far end
of the lot to the entrance.. eh.. yeah, by then you could tell by how I walk.

And really now with Ron, it makes it X2..
