The naturre of the beast I suppose.  For some it is age related, for others,
they have to live with it all their lives.

Yes, not all disabilities are visible.  What irks me, is those who use their
parents's or a friend's permit, to park in a disabled spot.  Yes it would be
nice to park close, but, it says quite clearly on the permit who can use it. 
Even my wife cannot legally use it, and she has one of her own <G>
