Ärende: Global Warming Scam

By the way....it apparently isn't clear to all of you who've been
hammering me with insults, curses, put-downs etc over this whole
`global warming' scam.


So...let me say a few things to sort of clear the air.


Firstly...Up till a few years ago, I was sort of on the line about
whether or not this `global warming' was actually any kind of pending
disaster to Mankind.


For many years we'd been exposed to various ones with microphone access
getting up and hammering us about `how terrible we're treating the Planet'
...and `how close to ecological disaster we are'....etc etc.


You could see the polution in the air out here...especially in the Los
Angeles area...thirty or so years ago.


But the air is much cleaner now. We've done some things to change the
way we refine oil for fuel...even coal is a lot cleaner than it was.


The `global warming disaster'? well....I was a bit skeptical about that...
after all Mother Earth had gone through some pretty harsh geological
periods in its 4+billion year history. And some hot periods too.


I did feel the oil industry could do a lot more toward making what comes
out of an exhaust pipe of a car a lot cleaner...and the coal industry
could probably stand some work, too.


But the whole `warming' thing sort of struck me odd. Oh, it got votes,
and it got a lot of heavy regulation....but somehow I wasn't really
convinced it was as bad as it was being put on to be.


Then the e-mails were exposed. And the whole rotten scam got exposed to
the light of day.


Its a scam, people. A con job. And has been for years. Yes...we needed
cleaner air. And yes...we could have a lot cleaner oil and coal.


But we've been conned out a huge amount of money for alternatives that
just don't work! The trail of taxpayer money that went from the treasury
to `green' companies to political coffers to bankruptcy courts, in just
this administration alone, should make any sensible person want a pause
in the monetary outlay to take a good hard look at this so-called
`pending disaster' they call `global warming'.


Are the alternative energy sources? Of course there are. Even now they
are working on the `fusion' source of energy...thats the way the Sun
produces the energy it puts out.


But...right now...in this day and age...we have petroleum and coal.


Should we work on alternative sources? Yes. But right now its oil and
coal.


We can use the money we've been pouring into companies that almost
immediately go bankrupt with it, for other, more pressing problems.
