Many Cajuns were worried about Fidel Castro being one key away.
Fortunately, Kruschev came to our rescue by getting rid of those
nukes.  Otherwise, JFK just might have decided to nuke Havana.
But probably would have come too late to save New Orleans.

Having first-strike capability is important in the game of
Armageddon.  Imagine what would have happened if Fidel Castro
had actually punched the button before Kruschev put a stop
to his madness?  Not only would it have been lights out for
the city of New Orleans, but it would have been lights out
for me.  And then none of y'all would have been able to
read any of my future posts in this forum (or anywhere else).

the Master.  But not the Daleks.  Most definitely not the Daleks.

Some things will remain classified forever.  Such as what really
happened with Adolf Hitler.  We know the Soviets faked the evidence
they claimed they had of Hitler's remains.  What really happened to
Hitler?  Did he escape Berlin?  Odds are he did.

History has a way of repeating itself, despite our best efforts
to keep such things from recurring or happening again.

The Jew as perpetual victim is something the Jewish people are
only now beginning to understand as being a mistake to have made
others believe.  The Jewish people have contributed greatly to
the world, for the betterment of others.  As have other peoples.

The German people should likewise be proud of their own
accomplishments, for there are many.  What was done to the
Jewish people in Germany during that dark period in history
was horrible, but it was not the entire history of Germany.
Just a small part, an infintesimally small part.

The US did not always treat the Jewish people well.  In
fact, the US turned Jewish refugees away from our shores,
many to certain death (the voyage of the St. Louis comes
to mind).

Today it is Muslims who are the victims, as millions of
Syrian refugees can attest.  Will the world open its arms
to those who are suffering, or will the world turn its
back as it once did to the Jews?
