NOTE. I am NOT taking the piss. Your grip on the English vocabulary often far
exceeds mine, and it is supposed to be my "native tongue".

You often use words that mean exactly what you want to say, but words I
wouldn't have thought of using.

The average Aussie doesn't use a very large vocabulary - and many of the words
they use have only four letters. After more than 35 years living here I seem to
have acclimatised.
