Ross, was she not an adult? Was she unable to process the decision she made and
continued to make over a 2 year period? It was a matter of consenting adults. 
Nothing more, nothng less.  I don't blame her actually, it's Linda Tripp who
started the entire ball rolling by her tapings. 

BTW, if Earl is seeing this, Lewinski wasn't issued a supoena till 3 months
after the tapings had begun. By that time the attorneys for Paula Jones already
had transcripts of the tapings and it was just a matter of time Lewinski was
tagged. I'm not saying CLinton was right but this was a total witchhunt.  Funny
how the tapes fell into the hands of Jonah Goldberg... a well known ultra
conservative syndicated columnist. Pieces starting to fall into place?

Tripp had an agenda... as  explained above.  Tripp was a lacky held over from
the Bush I days.

You're the one who brought up age originally, that she was just a kid.  At 22 I
had my own business.

Tripp violated Maryland's wiretap law.  When Starr got involved he wiped the
slate clean.  Federal prosecutors can do things like that when they have
someone in the crosshairs.

Did I not say above Clinton was wrong?  Have you lost your ability to read? 
Look at the facts.  If Lewinski hadn't said a word to Tripp over her
relationship with Clinton, Paula Jones would be a footnote.  The fact Tripp
illeagally taped conversations was the key.  Goldberg, being the fine
ultra-conservative, tipped off Jones' attorney who then held the smoking gun. 
Why was Lewinski ever brougt into the Jones suit anyway?  The Jones suit was an
ongoing clusterfuck since 1994 and going nowhere.  But alas... 3 months after
the tapings... poof.  The Lewinski supoena hit the streets and they knew they
had the silver bullet.  Ergo, no tape, no evidence. 

Believe what you want Ross.... there are no good guys in this whole FUBAR....
but the facts and timeline still show without the tape there would be nothing.
