Everybody is biased.  Including journalists and reporters.  They do
slant the news, which really cannot be helped, given the nature of
their jobs.  The thing to remember is they are chasing a story.  So
the truth is not really of utmost importance.  Truth is a relative
term, not absolute.

Slanting a story is not necessarily the same thing as favoritism
towards one candidate/party or another.  For example, Bill O'Reilly
is a schoolteacher.  Taught English to high school kids in Miami.
Then he got the gig on FoxNews, which paid him really, really well.
His new audience is not high school kids, but grown adults who
are not necessarily the brightest bulbs on this planet.  As a very
smart man, making a lot more dough than any of his legion of fans,
Bill O'Reilly gives them exactly what they want - highly-opinionated
nonsense about absolutely nothing of importance.

President Barack Obama is not running for a third consecutive term.
If he could, he would likely win.  But the US Constitution says he has
to sit this one out.  Unless he declares martial law.  Oops.  I should
not be giving that man ideas.  If he ever finds out, he might think I
am serious and actually do it.  So forget I wrote that.  Delete it.
Please.  And hope The One never reads it.  :)
