Bush: "Where Did The Twin Towers Go?"

It was September 11th, 2002 - exactly one year after the
infamous "9/11" tragedy, and President George W. Bush
talked candidly about himself and how he was coping with
the immense pressure being President at this crucial time
in American history.

This interview was never published or available to the media
before at the President's request. We made a gentlemen's
agreement that it wouldn't be made public, and shook
hands on it.

Well, I had two fingers on my left hand crossed, and I'm
no gentleman.


JD- "Mr. President, one year ago today, the USA got essentially
_bombed_.  What are your feelings about that awful day one
year later?"

GWB- "Well, Johnny, I don't recall what I did last September 11th,
so I must have been bombed too."

JD- "Sir, I'm talking about the World Trade Center and the other
targets being victims of terrorism."

GWB- "Oh, oh... _that's_ what you meant. Okay, now I get it.
Well, I am awful sorry that those poor buildings got hit."

JD- "Mr. President? What about the people _in_ the buildings?"

GWB- "What about them?"

JD- "Well, alot of them lost their lives."

GWB- "Oh, that goes without say. They definitely lost their lives.
Now, the World Trade Center... I don't want to seem stupid,
but where in the world did the Twin Towers go?"

JD- "The Twin Towers... they.... you mean you don't KNOW
what happened?"

GWB- "Well, I'm assuming they're in 'Twin Tower Heaven'. I
have faith that God is watching over the Towers."

JD- "Ok, let's talk about something more basic. Boxers or briefs?"

GWB- "I usually free-ball, Johnny."

JD- "Do you listen to music? If so, who are your favorite
performers?"

GWB- "Well, I have quite a varied taste in music. Public Enemy's
"Fear Of A Black Planet" is my current fave. My daughter Jenna
turned me on to them."

JD- "What are your goals for the future, Mr. President?"

GWB- "Well, #1 is to not get impeached. #2 is to not get
caught getting a hummer from Monica Lewinsky. And #3
would be to not visit Dealy Plaza."

JD- "Any final words?"

GWB- "Why? Are you going to kill me?"
