A universal search for certitude.

Science and religion, born and fostered by curiosity   
And countless times both say:
'Now I've got it!'
Your not knowing something does not mean that it cannot be known.
With time and memory, progress is possible.

There were many scientific explanations for it before Franklin went
kite-flying. Would you think all scientists whose theories has been
supplanted liars? Do you believe all modern theologians are liars? Do you
believe that I should consider my economic, astronomy, psychology,
sociology  teachers were LIARS?
Do you know what you are communicating in here? Seriously.
What does science have to do with value?
Meaning? Significance? Where would you look for these things? 
And, finally, do you ever ask yourself these questions?

I'm asking myself three: What percentage of the world's population does he
consider worthy of insult and scorn? Does he _believe_ in fireworks? Does
he have to be given evidence again and again?

PLOT LINE: Dan Cepppa visits a country that doesn't have fireworks. Dan is 
thought crazy when he tries to explain the existence of fireworks. 
He is scorned and ridiculed for believing in such nonsense: The sky
exploding with flashing of light in every color and shape...filling the
sky. What utter, silly, ignorance stupid nonsense! For blasphemy against
the loving placid, calm sky-Goddess (Nuit), Dan is lashed to a post and
beaten six times a day. The local papers report every day, for months:
"Justice done again today!" Dan is reduced to muttering "Pin-wheels",
"Burning School Houses", "Rockets...."
