MvdV>>>>> Sure, they do that all the time. They love cutting people's

MvdV>>> Abusing?
RW>> Yeup.
MvdV>>> He was using the service for what it is meant: tie a doamin
MvdV>>> name to an IP address.
MvdV> And that is all that happens on *their* systems.
As far as Felten was concerned, yes. There are more services offered, if
one contributes monitarily. I'm a paying supporter.
RW>> Where he makes available, copyrighted material.
MvdV> Which may or may not be a violation of law, depending on how you
MvdV> look at it, but either way it his happening on Björn's system, not
MvdV> Dundns'.
It is against there TOS to do what Felen is doing.
MvdV>>> Everything else took place on his own server.
RW>> Which he associated with DynDns by using their service.
MvdV> By that reasoning *veryone* using the WWW is associated with any
MvdV> cyber crime.
Wrong, as usual.
MvdV> We all use the global DNS system.
yeup.
MvdV>>> And I don't think there was any sworing either.
RW>> When you click on 'I agree' at the bottom of the The Terms of
RW>> Service, one has sworn to abide by those terms.
MvdV> Clicking on a "yes box", is just that, clicking on a box. Hers usch
MvdV> an action has no legal standing, it does not signal agreement, let
MvdV> alone a sworn agreement. Contracts require a written signature.
You can't get a written signature in cyberspace, therefore, when you click
on that box, it's as though you've signed your name. In any case, clicking
on that box indicated that you would abide by the terms of service. Felten
of course, having no scruples at all, ignored that part because he's
basically a dishonest person.
RW>> If you don't agree, then you don't get the service.
MvdV> Correction: if you do not click the "yes box" you do not get the
MvdV> service.
Correction; clicking that box indicates that you agree. The other box is
labeled, "I don't agree". If you click that one you're exited to
cyberspace.
RW>> Since he was using it, he must have agreed to the ToS.
MvdV> He clicked the "yes box", that is all. No signature, no contract.
See above.
The rest of this is pure bullshit, and I refuse to get dirty.
Buh bye.
RW>>>> I was positive, until he password protected them. Still, the
RW>>>> titles he displays must be copyright too.
MvdV>>> The *titles* are copyrighted?
MvdV>>> ROFLASTIC!
RW>> Yeup.
MvdV> Well, I wish them luck. My guess is they will be laughed out of
MvdV> Swedish court.
MvdV>>> Well, I don't see that movie there, let alone that it is
MvdV>>> downloadable.
RW>> I've seen it there.
MvdV> You may have seen it on a list. But unless you actually downloaded
MvdV> it, you can not know for sure that it *is* downloadable.
RW>> Before a password was needed to download it, and
RW>> the link is still there. BTW, I watched that movie last night. It's
RW>> owned by MGM studios, who also own the copyright to it.
MvdV> Or so the copy that you saw claimed. How do we know, that your copy
MvdV> isn't a bootlegged copy falsely claiming copyright for MGM?
MvdV>>> Have you actually downloaded any of those pictures? If not, how
MvdV>>> do you know the list is accurate?
RW>> I guess you've never seen a playboy centerfold picture before.
MvdV> Nice diversion. I take that as a no.
RW>>>> Let's not take it out of context.
MvdV>>> The context was "snitching".
RW>> That isn't what I was talking about.
MvdV> It was what *I* was talking about.
RW>>>> You see, he's made more than one or two enemies in his stay
RW>>>> here.
MvdV>>> Oh sure, you are not the only suspect on the list. You are not
MvdV>>> even number one.
RW>> Ever hear of collusion?
MvdV> Sure. You are admitting to it?
MvdV>>> Your opinion is noted. I still say it is wrong for anyone oir
MvdV>>> anything to attempt to impose their laws and morals on the
MvdV>>> citizens of another country. And I will continue to say that as
MvdV>>> long as I have the breath to do it.
RW>> That's fine. Just don't be surprised when they come knocking on your
RW>> door.
MvdV> For what? Venting my opinion? That is still no crime in this part
MvdV> of the world you know.
MvdV>>>>> They should leave the law of other countries to those in
MvdV>>>>> charge of enforcing those laws.
RW>>>> Would you prefer that the mafia enforce them?
MvdV>>> Have you stopped beating your wife yet?
RW>> She beats me...is that ok with you?
MvdV> Well, I'd prefer it she'd let some professional handle it. She is
MvdV> not doing a very good job, you are still typing.
RW>>>> If the pirates were to not distribute material belonging to
RW>>>> someone else, the world would be that much better off.
MvdV>>> If the copyright mafia would not claim rights that were never
MvdV>>> theirs in the first place the world would be a much better
MvdV>>> place.
RW>> Fortunately, they don't claim that which isn't theirs, just the
RW>> stuff that is.
MvdV> Unfortunately that is not true. They claim a lot more than that.
MvdV> Rights to "happy birthday" f.e.
RW>>>> Theives should not only be punished by imprisonment, they should
RW>>>> suffer Islamic theft laws.
MvdV>>> Be careful what you wish for. The US empire won't last forever.
RW>> According to my sources, it will be around long after everyone here
RW>> is long gone.
MvdV> Your sources have been known to be inaccurate before. They claimed
MvdV> there were WMD'd in Iraq....
MvdV>>> You may live to see it fall and the rightful owners of the oil
MvdV>>> that was stolen from them in Irak and other places may be
MvdV>>> beating on your door to do to you what you now wish to others....
RW>> LOL! That's merely wishful thinking on your part. It won't happen,
RW>> ever.
MvdV> Famous last words....
RW>>>>>> Before you stuff both feet into your big mouth, keep in mind
RW>>>>>> that DynDns.org is a US based company doing business within
RW>>>>>> the USA where such software violations as we've seen on the
RW>>>>>> Felon's website, is against the law.
MvdV>>>>> I am aware of that. I am also aware the as it is a free
MvdV>>>>> service, the customer does not have much of a bargaining
MvdV>>>>> position.
RW>>>> As a paying customer, I don't have any more right to violate
RW>>>> copyright law than the freeloaders do.
MvdV> As a Paying customer I have the right to demand that my provider
MvdV> leaves law enforcement to those in charge of law enforcement.
MvdV>>> Law enforcement is not the job of the supplier of the goods or
MvdV>>> services.
RW>> Dropping a copyright pirate is.
MvdV> Judging who is a copyright pirat and who is not is the job of the
MvdV> courts. Anyone taking the law into his own hand is violating the
MvdV> law.
MvdV>>> It is not for them to judge if law were broken and it is
MvdV>>> not their job to enforce laws.
RW>> As a provider of a certain service, they are required to know the
RW>> law.
MvdV> And the law here says that law enforcement is the exclusive job of
MvdV> the police and the courts.
RW>> Ignorance is no excuse.
MvdV> Indeed, so let them obey the law and leave law enforcement to those
MvdV> entrusted with it.
MvdV>>> As a paying customer I am in the position to demand that hey
MvdV>>> do not Interfere with how I use the tools that I buy from them.
RW>> And if you abuse their service, they have a right to correct that
RW>> abuse. The easiest way is to disconnect you from that service.
MvdV> There is no abuse of their service. It they believe the law is
MvdV> broken, they can report it to the police. They may not take the law
MvdV> into their own hand.
MvdV>>> The hardware store does not check on what I do with the axe I
MvdV>>> bought from them either don't they?
RW>> If you use that axe on their property in a way not deemed by them to
RW>> be proper, they can expel you or have you arrested.
MvdV> But once I paid for it and left the store, it is none of their
MvdV> business what I do with that axe.
RW>> When you leave their premises with the axe, you are under a
RW>> different set of rules in how you use it.
MvdV> As is the case with Björn's system.
RW>> Are you an axe murderer?
MvdV> Don't tempt me....
RW>>>> I think the fate of copyright violators should be shooting by
RW>>>> firing squad, composed of those they've stolen from.
MvdV>>> I think that those attempting to impose their laws and morals
MvdV>>> on others should be fed some of their own medicine. For you
MvdV>>> that would be your Camaro impounded an run through the
MvdV>>> compactor for waisting this planet's scarce resources.
RW>> LOL! You're really a crazy bastard, aren't you.
MvdV> Just feeding you some of your own medicine....
MvdV>>> You will not be allowed to shave yourself from now on.
RW>> I don't now.
MvdV> Good, you'r learning....
MvdV>>> You will have your right hand cut off
RW>> No, that's reserved for copyright thieves under Islamic law...
MvdV> They do not have a monopoly on it. Anyway, under the new regime all
MvdV> your rights to defend yourself have been suspended.
MvdV>>> for being an accomplish in stealing from third world countries.
RW>> I haven't accomplished that, nor am I an accomplice.
MvdV> You have been tried under the rules of the New World Order and
MvdV> found guilty on all charges. The ruling is final, there is no
MvdV> appeal. The sentencE will be executed forthwiTh.
MvdV>>> Your wife shall wear a burka whenever she appears in public
MvdV>>> view and she shall not speak to any other man on the penalty of
MvdV>>> death.
RW>> That too is reserved for copyright thieves under Islamic law.
MvdV> We are writing 2010. The US empire has fallen and the New World
MvdV> Order is now the ruling power. Obey or face the consequences.
MvdV>>> You shall not use toilet paper.
RW>> I use a bidet and warm air.
MvdV> No warm air, just the bidet.
MvdV>>> You shall not bath during a full moon.
RW>> Heavens no, I'm not heathen either.
MvdV> Be advised that it is the New World Order who will decide when it
MvdV> is full moon. The Official New World Order times of full moon do
MvdV> not necessarily coincide with the physical appearaNce of the full
MvdV> moon. Full moon periods will be Announced 165 ms in advance.
MvdV>>> You shall hand over all your guns and if yo are ever cuaght in
MvdV>>> firing a gun again you right hand shall be cut off. If you no
MvdV>>> longer have a right hand, your left hand will be cut off.
RW>> I'll shoot the first sob who tries it.
MvdV> That remark just classified you as an armed and dangerous terrorist
MvdV> under the New World Order rules. Your case will now be referred to
MvdV> the SDS (Special Disarmement Squad). They do not ask questions,
MvdV> they do not take prisoners. They just disarm...
MvdV>>> You shall not have sex with overaged women. Overaged women
MvdV>>> being women who can no longer have childeren. The legal limit
MvdV>>> is set at 45 years. Violation is punishable by castration. A
MvdV>>> second offence is punishable by death. You shall not even
MvdV>>> *think* about having sex with overaged women. And be warned
MvdV>>> that there are police officers posing as overaged women all
MvdV>>> around trying to frame you.
MvdV> Also be advised that you DNA is on file. It was obtained from a
MvdV> databank of the former US Empire's homeland security.
MvdV>>> You shall have one women and one woman only. You shall have sex
MvdV>>> with that women and only with that woman. You shall not use
MvdV>>> condoms or any other meand that interfere with procreation. The
MvdV>>> punishment is to be banished from heaven.
RW>> You are one crazy sob...in fact, this conversation is so onesided
RW>> crazy, I'll not participate in it any longer...buh bye lozer.
MvdV> What? You have nothing to saY?! I left you speechless? Wow!
