Not one symtom of that incident remains except some negligable
gaps in my memory and slight difficulty with spelling.

Given my current circumstance it's also bringing me back online mentally
as well.

That I may take you up on once settled but for a fair price in advance.

 Yeah when I upgrade or even if I don't as that would take load off the CPU
 I may very well go that way once I google for a Linux compatable HDTV model.

IIRC you've a different TV broaadcast standard up there and I've no idea if
Canada has adopted what's stardard here in the switch to HDTV

We used to have NTSC but now digital.

I've an antenna design here that's suposed to work really well and 
takes ten dollars to toss together but it's for the UHF part of the HDTV 
spectrum only, again I've no idea if compatible with your TV.

What have you got up there?
SECAM or PAL?

 Yeah it's in my bookmarks and I agree with that as well as about CNN though
I do tend to read opposing sides to develop a synthesis of what's likely right.

Also a great many overseas English language news sites.
What's really distressing is some of the better bloggers seem to be doing
a better job of ferreting out hte truth now
than most all domestic news media :-(
