I wound up going down to my nearest CompUSA and purchasing a case with
300 watt power supply.  With tax, it ran me $52.07.  Given that the old
case was for an AT style power supply with switch on the front and that
all that I see in the stores nowadays is ATX, this seemed like the best
move.

Turns out it looks like it took something on the motherboard with it
when it went.  I fortunately had a DFI motherboard that I wasn't using.
I transferred everything to it, and it looks like I got lucky as
everything is now working again.

Anyway, I still want to get my point software transferred over to Linux.
This summer, we will be moving, and I want to get it working on my
laptop before we have to pack everything up for shipping to my new duty
station.

I did get PPoint to run in DOSbox.  The dos version of IREX would be
more difficult as it would have to have networking first in order to be
able to transfer files. Easier will be to take the suggestion from Mark
and set up the Linux version to look at the directories where PPoint
saves its files. Since these are physically located in a subdirectory of
my home partition, I don't think that would be too difficult.

More tricky would be to be able to call IREX from the DOS program via a
batch file, much like I use hstart/hwait to call the OS/2 version from
PPoint currently.  Hopefully, someone already knows how to do this, and
some web searching will lead me to an answer.  If not, then I will have
to call IREX (or a suitable FTP program) manually from the Linux side.
