I hate those deals.  There is talk of eliminating that and just giving the deal
at the till instead since too many people have gotten ripped off by sending
those in and never getting the rebate.  I never bother and have stopped buying

I have one like that as well as one with usb and sata connections for a sata
drive.  That one works excellent but it cost a bit more.  Also have just
straight cables without cases which work pretty good so far.  I had problems
with one and the dealer took it back.

Big difference if you're into building your own stuff and don't want to be
bothered with deb packages and all that stuff.  Far less hassel in the long run
not worrying about that stuff.  I am not a distributor so rpm's and deb's are a
waste of time.  I prefer everything in tar and gzip or bzip2 format.  This way
anything I create is compatible with many more systems then either Debian or
RedHat (or whatever they call themselves these daze).

Right.  It can be done on others too but I forget offhand how.  I ALWAYS do it
the manual way as far too often automagic thingies don't get something right.

They usually do.  I was running at that resolution even on the console but
prefer 1024x768 anyhow.  Also I can change on the fly with a Matrox.  ;-)

I hear ya!  My nearest neighbour is far enough away that it isn't any bother
for either of us.

Maybe a bit but not much.  The video card would have the greater impact but
again not as much as you'd like given the file type.

For sure.  I won't charge you any more then I paid for it/them.  I got a deal
on them all.  The AGP dual head G450 has your name on it.  ;-)

Same here.  It seems to have stopped but it is supposed to get colder.  Can't
