AROMATHERAPY TIPS
Essential Oils can be incorporated into
many facial products.A facial scrub to try includes:
1/4 cup yogurt
1/4 cup cornmeal
5 drops Lavender essential oil
5 drops Patchouli essential oil
5 drops Grapefruit essential oil
Mix together and refrigerate a couple of hours before using. Store in
the refrigerator. Enjoy!

This recipe is said to be a love potion

Black Pepper 2 drops
Lemon 4 drops
Ylang Ylang 2 drops
Diffuse in an electric diffuser
or a candle type aroma lamp.

Spearmint 1-2 drops (You may also try Peppermint) Grapefruit 4 drops
(Try Lemon or Lemongrass) Basil 1 drop

less as you wish.
Use in a diffuser or place a few drops
on a hanky or tissue and inhale as needed.

Bergamot 1 drop
Use in a diffuser at work if you can or perhaps in a little terra
cotta
jug sitting on your desk or hanging in your car. Enjoy!
Aromatherapy Massage
An aromatherapy massage is probably the most effective method of
relieving stress, anxiety, tension and insomnia. Some oils to choose
from are Rose, Lavender, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Neroli and
Chamomile.
Use up to a total of 15 drops of selected essential oils to 1 oz.
carrier oil. Try Sweet Almond or Fractionated Coconut oil which won't
stain sheets or clothing.
You can do this at home easily.

and legs ( use long strokes and work towards the heart

Here is a bath recipe to precede ritual
for cleansing, calming and centering.
Mix together 10 drops each of Myrrh, Sandalwood,

mixture to a warm bath. Relax for 10 - 20 min.

Scented Stones
Almost any smooth, porous stone can be turned into
a fragrant diffuser. Using a pipette or a cotton swab
apply your favorite essential oils to the stones.
Sit them in a sunny window and enjoy the scent.
Refresh as needed.

Try this on your way to work
To stay alert during a long car ride try essential oil
of Peppermint.
Known for it's stimulating and head clearing properties
it is excellent for mental fatigue.
Use in a dash board diffuser, hanging terra cotta pot or
place a drop on a cotton ball. You don't need much so use
sparingly.

Here's a recipe to help us remember who we really are.
Turn off the lights and light some candles in your bathroom.
Prepare a pot of herbal tea.
Blend 3 tablespoons of dry milk powder with 3 tablespoons
of dry buttermilk powder.
Add some milk or soy milk and blend.
Add a carrier oil and your essential oils. Try

2 drops of Sandalwood
2 drops of Patchouli
This luxurious bath will transport you to another world.

For colds, flu or other viral infections, take a warm shower and
follow it with a gentle whole-body lemon-oil treatment before going
to bed. Combine one cup of sunflower oil and 20 - 30 drops of lemon
oil and rub this mixture evenly over your skin. Wrap yourself up
well in towels or blankets and go to bed. During the night the oil
will be absorbed by the skin's pores and will deploy its antiseptic
properties.

the mind, the ability to memorize while increasing concentration.

Use Your Socks to Repel Bugs
For a safe alternative to potentially harmful insecticides, place
three drops of peppermint, citronella, or eucalyptus essential oil on
your socks. Mosquitoes and other bugs hate the smell of these oils.
Don't apply essential oils to your favorite socks, as they can
stain. Some eo's may cause skin irritation, so avoid direct
contact. Reapply the eo every two to three hours.
