All this is paranoia about what someone could do and has never been =
about what actually is done.

Continuing with your paranoia, cookies and auth events are not =
available in any single location. Cookies require you to go to each and =
every client, more than just the ISPs. Auth events require you to go to = each
and every site that authenticates. Your ISP is the one to fear. = They don't
have to care about the whole world. They can just track = their customers and
make good money selling information on what you do. = If law enforcement is
interested in you they have many options though = your ISP is likely their best
bet just like the phone company is for = your telephone calls.

It all comes down to feasibility. Sure your ISP *could* track
everything you do. This may or may not be relevant depending on the =
type
  of privacy required.

However, this requires that a single organization (Insurers, Law
Enforcement, government, private investigators) go to ALL 5,000 ISPs =
in the
US, and have them start to collect data on everyone. Why would they =
do
this if the information is available from a central location (cookie
  tracking, single signon access, etc)?
