You haven't been keeping up, then.  Actual physical infliction of pain,
mutilation, beatings, etc., are old hat in the torture game.  There are drugs
available now that make you spill your guts so completely that it ruins your
brain.  There are methods of inflicting pain that leave no physical marks and
little or no physical damage.  The point being that using modern methods, you
WILL tell everything you know, whether you want to or not, and you will not be
capable of lying while you're doing it.  We don't use those methods as a rule,
but like I said, I would use whatever it took under certain circumstances, and
so would you, so let's not get too self-righteous, OK?
