I'll tell you Bob it does sadden me to see all of you so hateful of one another
and especially you.

Stan said that what was good about the echo is most here could put it all aside
and be friends.

That seems gone now.

Many in Congress who are retiring say in private that politics are so divisive
and ugly now, moreso than in recent memory.

I see it myself here.
