Looks like you folks need to put out the word to "Boycott
HuffingtonPost now". They've turned traitor, and are now part of the CBA
(cover Bush's ass) crowd.  How _dare_ they use the fictional whitehouse

Whatever Whitehouse press office bimbo secretary cum-38D's typed up the
transcript knows jack-shit about fishing too.  Their "large mouth"
should have been typed as "largemouth."

We can settle this- - maybe some truth-loving organization like
moveon.org can petition a Clinton-appointed Federal judge to demand
it be made public under the FOIA. It must be found! Finally, the SMOKING
GUN.

Meanwhile, since the krauts who buy BILD don't know a largemouth bass
from a mudfish, they translated what he said as "einen Siebeneinhalb-
Pfund-Barsch."   Translate that back to English, you get 'a 7 1/2 pound
bass."  Whatever jackoff Reuters writer in Berlin retranslated it back
into English knows jack-shit about USA fishing, too.  AAMOF the Germans
know jack-shit about seafood in general.  As we have noted, they use
the same word for "bass" and "perch." Moreover, they have this one word
"der Krebs" that they use for all kind of things - - crustacean,
crawfish, crabs, as well as medical terms cancer and carcinoma.  They're
so iggorant about seafood that they even eat damn _eels_ over there.
Fishermen catch eels from the St. Johns River in Florida.  Some of them
are used right there for bait in crab traps, but a lot are packed up and
sent in airplanes over to Europe, where Germans, as well as others, like
to eat them.  I tried some one time - - it had a taste and consistency
about like whit-leather.

Bild-Zeitung called it a Barsch (bass), and that is good enough for
their readers.  No need for them to do anything.  The culprits were
Reuters.

Reuters already publishede a disclaimer, and it was right there in the
article.  Br'er Sakowski, as honest as the day is long, accidentally
erased it when he posted a part of it. The wording of the disclaimer was
- "Because Bild could not immediately furnish English quotes, Bush's
comments were translated from the German.  The paper said the White
House planned to release an authorized English version of the interview
Monday."

In other words, Bild told Reuters to fxxk off and do their own work, so
Reuters had to do a quick and incorrect translation from the German text
which Bild had released.

But you're not correct about Reuters not doing a retaction - - go to
www.reuters.com and search the site for "Bush perch"  You'll see that
the title of the article in question will pop up, but when you click on
the link, what pops up is "We're sorry...this article is not currently
available." So Reuters has in fact retracted the article.  If you click
over to the UK Reuters site, they still do have the article, but makes
no diff - - Brits know jack-shit about US fishing too. Shit, over there,
they don't even know the difference between biscuits, cookies and
crackers.  Ask a Brit to please pass the buiscuits and they'll hand over
some kind of a dry, tasteless POS, with not even as much flavor as a
no-salt soda cracker.
